There are two forms of hypocrisy, 1) true hypocrisy and 2) perceived hypocrisy. The second form isn't hypocrisy in the least it only seems that way. For example, blacks are equal to whites and yet the peoples of Africa can't get their act together. Both statements are true but their colour has nothing to do with the problem. The first form of hypocrisy however is something which has no defense and is one of the core "sins" of humanity. A perfect example of it are the two phrases above in "~ ~" one of which many think is wrong but the other many of those same people find right.

I still can't get over how STUPID so many folks are on here (and in general).

Maybe I like vampires to the degree that I do because I see so many of these similar qualities (of course the cool vamps that are more like humans than monsters... I'm not really identifying with Nosferatu), maybe I like them because I just do. Maybe there is no mystery to it. Maybe some just to read into things further than their depth. Maybe I am the one in denial and clueless. I don't have too much pride to not be able to deal with being wrong. I'm just not convinced why these qualities make you any different than an ocean in volume of so many other people.



Beyond that, I just have a real problem with people using the term 'vampire'... I really wish they would have picked a unique name. Stealing my myth and legend's name just because you 'parallel' them isn't good enough. Especially since so many want to claim they are the 'real' ones... no, using this name for the MYTH came first. You find your own name, and just say you're vampire-like. Then you won't have to worry about novelists and screenwriters giving you a bad name. They aren't, after all... they are merely keeping with the fiction we've had all these centuries. Take that away from me, and I'll stake ya.



But again, I get your plight (although I find it a regular human one). I'd just rather a different name for it. It's a total misnomer, in my opinion.

Not caring for the sun has nothing to do with anything and isn't a sign of anything other than your personal preference. I'm not a fan of the sun either, in fact it can cause me great pain i.g migraines but that doesn't mean I'm going to melt.



Since you don't care for the sun you might be drawn to stay up during the night and sleep during the day. (the same for me) Again, this has nothing to do with vampirism. You must either be up during the day or night and if you're up during the night then the only time for sleep would be in the day.



Being anemic...you're just like millions of others. Women tend to be more prone to various forms of anemia the same way that blacks are at a much higher risk of developing sickle cell anemia. It's a common medical condition, unrelated to the things above.



Craving interpersonal interactions, being around energetic people, all to feel healthy. Once more, not vampirism but in fact it's called BEING HUMAN. It's a medical fact that being around others increases your health. Humans need daily physical contact and interactions otherwise they can develop several mental/emotional disorders. Coupled with other circumstances a person can actually die if they don't have any interaction with other people. (it's a very rare thing but has happened).



So my professional diagnosis: You're human. Sorry :)

Am I the only one with a changing scroll bar? For whatever reason the page scroll changes from the normal red/black on some pages to a generic silver/white (like if you're scrolling through Google). It's not a big issue of course just something I noticed today. I haven't changed anything and there aren't any new or odd scripts being ran so I have no clue why it's changing. It's normal on this page (write in journal) but changes on my inbox and a few others.



Oh the mysteries of the great interwebnets.
